Aiden & Rachel Wedding Day | Salt Lake LDS Temple | Salt Lake Wedding Photographer
Do you guys remember Rachel’s sister, Katelyn from last summer? I won’t be forgetting her anytime soon - not only because she was a lovely bride to work with, but also because she has saved my life not once, but twice! Okay, “saved my life” might be a little dramatic, but she definitely saved my hands from freezing by letting me borrow gloves at both Rachel & Aiden’s formal shoot and their wedding day! The wedding day was beautiful and full of joy and love, but also bitter cold and my gloves got wet and Katelyn’s service saved the day :) Rachel & Aiden’s temple exit was as jubilant and full of energy as i’ve seen. I got the unique opportunity to get to know Rachel longer than most of my brides because I met her as I was working with Katelyn several months ago. Rachel & Aiden have just been so stinkin’ excited to start their “forever” together and i’m so happy for them that they’re finally husband and wife.
Cold hands aside, I genuinely loved this day and these people. As a wedding photographer, I generally tend to focus on the bride, but I have to say - Aiden is a giant goof and I absolutely love him! He had such a good time dancing with all their family and friends. They started a conga line, everyone was laughing and smiling, and it was definitely not one of those “typical, boring receptions”. Rachel’s bridesmaids were some of the most attentive I’ve ever seen - and i’ve seen A LOT. They were doing whatever was necessary to make sure her dress was always perfect, fixing her hair for pictures, running whatever errands were needed to make the day go exactly as Rachel had envisioned, etc… The whole day was just such a warm, happy, loving environment to be a part of.
