Landon & Katelyn Wedding Day | Salt Lake LDS Temple Wedding | Station Park Fountain View Events
Landon & Katelyn’s wedding at the Salt Lake City Utah LDS Temple was an absolutely stunning day. The light was bright and beautiful, and the trees and florals all around temple square were in full bloom. The reception was held at Fountain View at Station Park, which was classy, modern, and elegant all at the same time. I haven’t shot there very often, but I hope I get the chance again soon. The space had a light and airy vibe that made it feel incredibly inviting. All that alone would have made for a fantastic day, but I also got to be around the Isaacson’s again, which is always a treat. I’ll be shooting Katelyn’s sister’s wedding in December, so be sure to keep an eye out for that! Also, the most adorable thing happened while we were shooting some portraits - a little girl came up to Katelyn and gave her a rose because she thought she was a princess! How adorable is that!
To give you guys a feel for what Landon & Katelyn are like as people, imagine this. A nice yard for the future dog to run and play in and a giant field full of horses, ready to be ridden at your beckon call - if this sounds like a dream come true, you have something in common with Landon and Katelyn! When I asked them what some of their goals for their future are, those were two of my favorite answers. Their love of animals extends from texting each other pictures every single time they see a dog on campus and saying “DOG!” to Landon tying The Puppy Barn into the proposal.
The one hobby that rivals their love of animals is their affinity for touring model homes together. Landon told me the sweetest story about this hobby the day of their engagement. They had a routine of Katelyn changing a ring she wore before they were engaged to her left hand ring finger to avoid awkward questions from the realtors when they would go into a tour. On the day Landon was planning to propose, they were walking into a model home and Katelyn asked “Should I do the thing with the ring?” and Landon thought to himself - “Soon you won’t have to!”
