Kassidy & Stacy Engagement Session | Fall Engagement Photos | Logan, Ut Wedding Photographer

I take it as such a great compliment when people contact me to be their photographer after they’ve seen my work from someone they know. My favorite kind of marketing comes from happy clients referring their friends and family to me. Such was the case when Stacy messaged me through Instagram after she saw the photos I did for her coworker, Shayla. And Shayla had contacted me because of the photos I did for her friend, Lauren. I am so grateful to have had such a fantastic chain of beautiful, sweet, darling brides!

Stacy and Kassidy are both passionate about being positive influences in the lives of the local youth. Stacy is a colorguard coach for Sky View High School and loves creating the flag and dance routines almost as much as she loves working with the girls. Kassidy loves sports and has refereed football and basketball, and he’s studying to become a high school teacher. My Dad used to referee football and basketball, and I must say, that’s a gig you’ve really got to love to keep doing it. So Kassidy, my respect goes out to you ;)

Kassidy arranged for the cutest fall-themed proposal. While he took Stacy on a date to Bluebird, one of the oldest, most historic restaurants in Logan, Stacy’s mom set up apple cider, pumpkins they had carved, and candles on Stacy’s back deck. After dinner, Kassidy took Stacy home and parked around back where they happened upon the romantic surprise. They walked up and found that on the back of one of the pumpkins, it said “Will You Marry Me?” and he got down on one knee. Stacy said it was everything she ever dreamed of :)

I loved the vintage style of Stacy’s first outfit at the engagement shoot. She got her darling blouse and skirt at Platos Closet here in Logan. It’s so fun to me to see everyone’s personal styles come through. It didn’t surprise me at all when Stacy told me she has a cosmetology license and loves doing hair, because she was radiant throughout the whole shoot. They told me they’ve been talking about marriage for a long time, and it made me so happy for them that they’re now taking the leap because you can just tell how much they adore each other.
