Hello, can you say STUNNING!?

Every single thing about Caden & Karlie’s wedding and reception was absolutely gorgeous. Their colors, the floral theming, the dance floor, the hombre blue cake, his sharp looking suit, her beautiful white dress, etc… I mean it. Every. Little. Detail. was like magic.

I'm mainly based out of Cache Valley, so i’m definitely familiar and comfortable with my tried and true photo spots in and around Logan. But sometimes it can be really fun to shoot somewhere else and learn the little intricacies of what spots are really crowded or where the sun hits at what times of the day or what can’t miss backdrops there are at different wedding venues. I really enjoyed shooting Karlie & Kaden’s outdoor reception, especially because I almost didn’t get to!

I was already booked for a different wedding for their date by the time they contacted me, but they really loved my work so they agreed to have me shoot their engagements and formals myself and then send one of my talented associate shooters, Megan, to capture their wedding day. They got to meet Megan at the consult ahead of time so everyone was comfortable with each other and it was all smooth and went without hiccups by the time the big day rolled around. As it turned out, the other wedding I was working that day only occupied my morning so I was thrilled to be able to join them for the reception and do a little more capturing personally. Megan, as always, did an excellent job at the temple portion of their wedding day, and I am so lucky and grateful to have a fantastic photographer like her to call upon whose work I know I can depend on in situations like these.

I ran into Caden & Karlie recently at another wedding I was shooting. It was so nice to stop and chat and catch up for a bit as I saw them on the temple grounds. They are just as stunning and sweet now as they were on their wedding day.
