Did you know I offer mini sessions for families? The reduced session time and smaller price are attractive to a lot of people for a multitude of reasons.

I have two sons under the age of six, so I completely understand that sometimes kids are just not going to be able to stay focused and engaged for a full 60 minutes like a traditional session would be.

I strive to keep the photo shoot process fun and relaxed, but some people just don’t feel totally comfortable in front of a camera. Knowing that they’ll only have to be “on” for 20 or 30 minutes can help take some of the stress out of it.

And lastly, people work HARD for their money. My experience has been that I’ve never regretted investing money on getting professional pictures taken with my little family. Life just moves by so fast and the littles grow up so quickly. But I get it. Sometimes a full session isn’t affordable for everyone at all times. That’s a big reason why I try to offer a really affordable option that still gets you the same high quality work that you would expect from Kristi Alyse Photography.

Alli contacted me on Instagram and booked one of my fall mini sessions. I offer the 30 minute mini sessions year-round, but these fall special sessions are 20 minutes, so short and sweet. It was perfect for them because Alli LOVES photos, but Brad, not so much. I promised him that it would be quick, painless and FUN and at the end he admitted that he had a good time. We shot these at Green Canyon and Alli was super excited about all the colors because she said their apartment feels a little bland at times and she was excited to print these photos and get some colors in their house. Brad and Alli have been married just under a year and they are the sweetest couple! I loved getting to meet them and work with them!
