Mitch & Julia Formals | San Diego LDS Temple + Windansea beach formals | San Diego Wedding Photographer
One of the biggest compliments you can receive as a photographer is to have someone want to hire you just from seeing your work on social media. That was just the case with Mitch and Julia. We had never met before, but through the magic of Instagram, they found me! I was so excited when they contacted me. We were able to do a quick consult before they flew me out to San Diego, but the first time we actually met was when it was time for this formal sessions the day before their wedding. You may think it would be hard to have a stranger photograph such important and beautiful moments, but right when we met it was like we were instant best friends. That is one of the things I desire the most - to become my clients friend and help them capture every beautiful part of their wedding journey. I’m there to capture their dreams coming true, and hope to make it as stress free for them as possible. :)
Sometimes being in front of a camera can cause some to shy away, but these two were just so comfortable, relaxed, and easy to be with. I almost wish that I could been in San Diego photographing their whole wedding week, because 1) It was absolutely gorgeous and I love San Diego, and 2) These were two beautiful human beings. What more could you ask for? They met each other in Ukraine while serving LDS missions, and if I were to guess, I would say that Mitch noticed Julia first because just look at that smile! He was grinning ear to ear when he saw his future bride, and who could blame him? Julia looked absolutely flawless and classic, which made my job very easy. We first shot at the San Diego temple, then went to Windansea Beach in La Jolla and through it all their smiles never faded. These two radiate pure goodness. Just being around them makes you want to be a better person. Coincidentally, that was the first thing everyone at the wedding wanted to tell me about - the incredible influence these two have had on those around them, and I could feel it. It was so fun for me to be able to shoot these photos from Mitch and Julia’s formals. I can’t wait to see all the good that comes from these two.
