If you are here looking for shots of a lovely couple at a venue that is equal parts stunning and enchanting, you have come to the right place! I took these formals for Cassidy & Stacy at Wadley Farms in Lindon, and let me just say that I would not be upset if every session I shoot from here on out is located there. Just look at it! The beams, the hardwood floors, that gorgeous fireplace, the ivy wall, I could go on and on. I am in love 😍.

I have to give credit to Stacy for suggesting this location. Not only was it beautiful, but the two hour drive there made for a great chance for us all to get to know each other better. Getting more acquainted with my couples is not only a joy for me because i’m a huge sucker for love stories, but feeling comfortable with me translates to their experience in front of the camera. How you feel during the shoot is what you’ll see when you get the images. By the looks of it, I’d say Cassidy & Stacy have got a lifetime of beautiful moments ahead of them.

As if I didn’t love this session enough already, let me tell you a story about Stacy’s dress. First of all, let’s just say it - Stacy has great taste. Her jewelry, the shoes, the hair adornments, she’s got her style down to a science, and she makes it look like art. Anyways, she got her dress at David’s Bridal but she wasn’t in love with the sleeves, so she had it altered. Seems reasonable, right? But… she still didn’t love the sleeves. So what’s a girl to do? She found ANOTHER dress at the DI (a local thrift store) and used the sleeves from that dress to perfect her dress and create the masterpiece you see before you. I LOVE that she wasn’t afraid to keep going for what she wanted. If she’s this determined about a dress - can you imagine how many incredible goals Stacy is going to be able to achieve in the coming years.
