Europe Trip - Day 4 - Amsterdam

This was such a full and fun day, but it was also the 6 month anniversary of my dads passing, so it was a tough one as well. I definitely found myself sitting in a Mcdonalds with tears running down my face as I thought about my dad and how much he enjoyed traveling and how much I miss him.

We started off having the most amazing breakfast at a cafe. Like seriously, i’ve never had a croissant that good. Then we had a shoot with Joanna and AR of Intensemble. They are fashion bloggers and models and were so fun and sweet! They were so happy to show us all around their city and made the morning so fun! We then went and walked around the flower market and headed over to the Reijks Museum , which was incredible. We wandered around looking at the painting and sculptures and the most incredible library! Ever since I was a little girl I've been really enchanted by large libraries and i’ve sworn that one day I will own a Beauty and the Beast style library. We then had another amazing lunch and the most amazing dutch pancake, then headed over to the Anne Frank house. The Anne Frank house was such a sobering experience. We actually almost didn’t get tickets because they sell 80% of the tickets 2 months in advance and it said online that they were sold out for the day. The Anne Frank was one of the main things I wanted to do in Amsterdam, so I just kept checking the site to see if maybe they would release some later in the day and miraculously they had some! Im so glad we got to go, it was a high light of the trip for me so far.
