Im a wife of 10 years to my best friend and momma to two wild little boys. We call the mountains of Northern Utah home but im always planning our next trip in my head. If it was up to me I would constantly be exploring Utah, relaxing at the beach, hammocking in the mountains or taking a trip to Disneyland.

The why behind Kristi Alyse Photography started the way it does for most businesses - to make money and provide a valuable service to my clients. But over the years, my why has changed. In 2018 I lost my dad to a four and a half year battle with cancer, so now, because I lost one of my most important people, its really important to me, an honor really, that I get to capture the relationships between you and your really important people.

Creating an image with meaning

Like all things here at Kristi Alyse Photo, its about more than just a pretty image

I took this image when I was at a crossroads with my business. I either needed to let photography go and move on to something else, or I needed to fully commit. I traveled to the Oregon Coast, a place that has always been inspiring for me, and created this image. Creating this image lit a fire in me. While it is beautiful, it represents so much more than that to me. Its a reminder of making the decision to trust myself and go for my dreams. And im so glad I did!

One of the proudest moments of my career was when one of my brides told me I was like a breath of fresh air on her wedding day. Connection like that is important to me. You won’t just be another bride. You’ll be a Kristi Alyse Bride.

My greatest strength solves one of your biggest wedding day headaches…

Lets be honest. Group and family photos can be a little bit of a headache. Trying to get everyone to look and listen. Organizing the group. Making sure no one leaves before they are done, ect. These photos are important and a must have, but you don’t want to spend more time than you have to doing these.

So ive mastered the art of efficient and painless group and family photos. Seriously, this is the part of the wedding day where I get loads of compliments from your friends and families about how quick and easy I make this process.
