So I am shooting a wedding in San Diego, California when a guest approaches me and asks if I’ve ever shot in Utah and if I would be able to shoot her daughter’s wedding in Salt Lake City. Little does she know Utah is my home state. Talk about fate! So that’s how I came to have the pleasure of photographing
Eddie + Lauren’s beautiful boho wedding.
It was actually quite serendipitous that I first met Lauren’s mom because she is the one I worked most closely with during preparations for the wedding due to Lauren living in a different state. Lauren + Eddie actually live in Colorado but the ceremony was happening in Utah because that’s where their families live. The wedding took place at the coolest venue, The Chase Mill, which is located inside The Tracy Aviary at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. It was seriously such an amazing and unique location and I was so excited to have the opportunity to shoot there. Lauren got dressed and prepared her vows inside the mill, which I was able to photograph. I had her sit inside the window to get some shots of her looking over her vows, which ended up being some of my favorite shots. Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful, followed by dinner and dancing into the night.
I am so glad that Lauren’s mom and I were able to find each other in a different state, at a different wedding. Some things, much like Eddie + Lauren, are just meant to be!
