Talk about California dreamin'! It was an honor to be witness to this beautiful ceremony this summer. Dylan + Rosie had a lovely backyard wedding in a friend of the family's backyard (which had STUNNING ocean views, by the way!) Rosie actually grew up in Laguna Beach, California while Dylan grew up in Arizona. They met in college at Brigham Young University in Northern Utah.

The bride and groom had originally planned to get married at another venue in Laguna Beach and then be sealed in the San Diego Temple, but due to COVID cancellations and gathering guidelines, they decided to change locations to a yard very familiar to Rosie. She used to hang out here and take her dance pictures in their backyard growing up as it's just down the street from her own childhood home.

One of my favorite parts of this ceremony and wedding day was that Rosie was so close to her family throughout. Her mother helped her get dressed first thing, and then she had a special first look with both her father and her husband-to-be, resulting in so many special moments to be photographed.

I loved getting to photograph this beautiful backyard wedding in Laguna Beach, California and I wish these two lovebirds all the best on their new adventure of marriage!
