A wedding should be about celebration. It’s not about trying to guarantee that everything you planned goes off without a hitch. It’s not about catering to certain guests or mothers and obsessing over how everything looks. Alex + Kayli understood that their wedding day was a celebration to be shared with their close friends and family. I LOVED getting to shoot their wedding day at Conestoga Ranch in Bear Lake, Utah because it was such a joyous, festive occasion.

I’ve taken Alex + Kayli’s pictures for years. I took their engagements a few years back and I’ve also taken their family portraits with their son Stetson several times over the years, and I was honored to be there to capture their wedding day at last! It’s been so fun to see how their little boy has grown each time I’ve photographed him — he is a doll!

Conestoga Ranch is the most beautiful “glampground” in Northern Utah. I’ve been there several times with my own family! They offer “glamping” resources (glamorous camping) which looks like beautiful, luxurious tents and furniture, equipped with heaters and boho decor. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony with a wedding dinner, and it was all followed by a wonderful dance party that lasted well into the night. Stetson was their ring bearer which was darling and perfect, and the entire setting/background just suited them both so well.
