Austin + Madison Engagement session | Blacksmith Fork Canyon Engagement Session | Logan Utah Wedding Photographer
The story of how Austin & Madison met is a Tinder success story! It helped that they weren’t complete strangers - Madison knew two of Austin’s sisters. But even after their first date, Madison wasn’t totally convinced. She told me she wasn’t really interested in a second date, and her mom had to convince her to give him another chance. I think it’s safe to say now she’d look back and thank her mom :)
When I first meet my couples, I always like to get to know them and ask them basic questions like how they met, how he proposed, what they like to do together, etc… I liked the way Madison put it, so i’ll just let you read her words of how the proposal went.
“He had asked me to come over his house and I didn't think anything of it because his truck was in the shop being repaired and we usually switched off houses anyway. When I got there, we had gone inside for a little bit and then he told me he had somewhere he wanted to take me. He wouldn't tell me where we were going but we were only in the car for about five minutes when we pulled up to a house I had never been to before. He informed me that we were at his grandma’s house, and I told him that he could have told me I was meeting his grandma that night! Turns out that his grandma wasn't home and he had a fire going in her backyard in the snow in a little forested area. He had hot chocolate and apple cider waiting for us with the most beautiful bouquet of my favorite flowers. He got down on one knee right there in the snow next to the fire. And the rest is history!”
