There are certain people I just get excited to shoot family portraits for, and Liz is one of them.
I did wedding photography for Dallin and Liz when they got married in the Logan Utah Temple back in 2017. Weve kept in touch all these years, and ive got to watch their little family grow into a not so little family. Their kids are absolutely radiant and you can feel how much joy they bring each other. I love family portraits like this - we worked hard to grab the classic family portrait, and then spent the rest of the time allowing the kids to explore, and with a few tricks up our sleeves, we turned the chaos into joy filled family photos.
This is the type of shoot I specialize in. Where you dont have to know anything about the people in the photos to understand the relationships. Its emotional storytelling, not just photos.
