Last week I attended a workshop put on by Kylee Ann Studios. They had Rebecca Curtis come teach a portion of the workshop on styling and production and it was just what I needed! We practiced a little at the workshop, and then I went home and kept practicing because I love getting to be creative and find new ways to display all the pretty details from my weddings!
I met the darling Rebecca Dahl of Rebecca Dahl Photography a few weeks ago when she attend my off camera flash class at Stone Gate Event Center. The girl is a total babe and a blast to be around, so when she asked me to second shoot Janie and Garions wedding with her, I was super excited! Shooting with her was a blast and this was such a beautiful wedding! I love all the details and planning Janie put into her wedding, and The Gardens at Dry Creek was the perfect location! Congrats to these two!
Im a Disney lover and Disneyland is one of my favorite places! We went to Disneyworld for our honeymoon and I went several times as a kid, but my absolute favorite has been taking my own kids! And this trip was my favorite so far because we got to go with my brothers family and he asked me to take some family photos for them! It was so fun because it wasn't like a traditional family session, they just wanted fun candid photos of them enjoying disneyland as a family!
We drove from Logan, which was a LONG drive for all these kiddos to make, so we stopped and explored in St. George for several hours! It was such a blast!
My goodness, this was the WINDIEST day! It was also the loveliest day, and I love that the cold wind didn't damper anyones spirits or excitement for Karlie & Robert! And their bright, colorful flowers made everything feel cheery and like spring! It was perfect! They were married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and held their reception at Eldredge Manor in Bountiful. Eldredge Manor is one of my favorite venues to shoot in, its elegant and the staff is always so nice and on top of things! The highlight of the evening for me was the father daughter dance that Karlie shared with her dad and the tears that were shed! I always love watching dads hold their daughters a little tighter during this dance.
This little darlin is Elsie Belle and she is the daughter of one of my best friends. We got together at Station Studio and basically just let Miss Elsie and big sis Chloe run around and be adorable while we took photos. My job is pretty easy when the kids are this cute! I can't believe Elsie is turning one already!
Ryan & Audrey were friends in high school and would confide in each other about their relationship woes. Which is a clear sign that one day they would end up together. How did they not see that coming? Especially since their moms were friends, too.
I walked away from my time with Audrey & Ryan feeling like I had two new friends. These two are both so warm and welcoming, and clearly I'm not the only one who felt this way - they had such a large and strong support group of family and friends there to celebrate their big day with them! Its such a beautiful thing to see my brides and grooms, whom I've grown to love, be loved and adored by the people who know them best, and these two are no exception!
These stunning florals are from The Flower Shoppe!
